The photographic project Viv(r)e la Vie! by Ana Galán is a tribute to people who decide not to become invisible, to the people who live the present moment despite belonging to a segment of the population that becomes invisible, the elderly. A photographic series for social activation that consists in portraying couples who gather to dance.
Photographs of profile pairs on a landscape background of evergreens in three planes; Landscape as a representation of the power of the vital force, of immortality. Couples of a certain age, people who are not visible but who have not stopped living fully and the close relationship is portrayed in the dances of their town. The photographs give visibility to these people and, at the same time, document cultural diversity between different cities and countries. From Guadalajara to Philadelphia, Finland or the Philippines are the destinations from 2011 to 2012. This project wants to honor those who live their lives fully, to people who reach a mature age, but remain active.
